About Me

My name is Nyasia Miranda. I am currently a senior at Queens College. I will be graduating in the fall of 2023 with a bachelors degree in Design. Having been interested in art my entire life led me to finalize my career path in graphic design. I wanted to be a traditional artist but after a couple of years of studying the fine arts, I realized that maybe there is more I could do with my art. That’s when I decided to try a design class and immediately realized what I wanted to do. There was no turning back! I changed my major at once. My love for graphic design grew instantly and the fact that there are many more job opportunities has not escaped me. At the moment my dream job would be working for companies such as Smite, Loungefly, Disney, or the comic book industry. The moment I bought myself an ipad helped me grow exponentially! As a creator and with each art project I completed, I realized that I would never be able to live without the pen tool! There were times I’d get stuck on a project or problem but I found that the best solution was to move forward and go back to that particular project once I learned something new. I find myself growing every day as a graphic designer and will continue to set my sights for a strong future in something I now know I care for deeply, graphic design.
